Takeaway Tuesdays: Proverbs 31:25

Hi friends! It’s hard to believe that the year is half over! I am squeaking in this post late on the last Tuesday in June. What has God been teaching you? Showing you? Do you feel closer to Him, with 6 months of 2019 under your belt? I know that 6 months of The Bible Recap has encouraged my heart toward Jesus. I am learning so much, and I know that my Scripture prints have been coming from this reading plan a lot lately. I can’t help myself because IT’S SO GOOD!

This month’s free print is based upon Proverbs 31:25. I recently heard from the podcast that this type of woman probably did not possess all of these characteristics overnight, but this was a culmination over a lifetime. There is great comfort in knowing that a woman I can emulate doesn’t have it all together, all at once.

I love the part of the chapter when the author shares that a woman of noble character clothes herself in strength and honor, and laughs at the time to come.

I want to be a woman who laughs at the time to come!

I’m not overwhelmed, or anxious, or stuck. I’m assured in who God is, enough to anticipate the future with joy! I hope this Scripture encourages your heart today. I’m always thinking of you dear reader, and praying your heart is receptive to what God is telling you today, when you open your heart and ears to Him.
